we had a wonderful experience at George Bass Motor Inn. the room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a fridge, microwave, plates, and cutlery. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure. the motel owners were so friendly and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. overall, a hidden gem for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. Cons: everything was up to par! 🌟.

The furnishing of the room was simple and unfussy, even slightly shabby - but everything worked. the couch and bed were comfortable, the internet worked, there was a good, comfortable sized shower , a well set out tray of tea/coffee bits and pieces. the greeting at the office was friendly, and when I asked if I could sit in my room for as long as possible at check out time, because I had time to fill before an appointment, the person in charge told staff to leave my room until last, which gave me an extra two hours. the location, close to the Library and Art Gallery worked for me and proximity to the Bridge and main route north. Excellent coffee/bakery over the road.

It was also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
