The hosts welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond in providing a fantastic B&B experience. the breakfast spread was top-notch, with fresh fruit daily. the staff were attentive, ensuring we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. the location was just right - easy access to the city with a nearby bus stop. the room was impeccably clean and cozy, making it ideal for my needs.

Perhaps adding a TV in the bedroom for some quiet downtime would be a nice touch. clearer signage at the entrance to the property would help guests find the driveway more easily.

A Slice of Heaven

I had the most delightful surprise when I arrived at Grove Manor. The hosts, Trevor and Fiona, warmly welcomed me and showed me around their charming home. The grand staircase and beautiful bedrooms reminded me of a scene from Gone With the Wind. The room I stayed in was bright and clean, and I loved how it opened up to a lovely wrap-around verandah. The bathroom was stocked with luxurious toiletries, including bath salts for a relaxing soak. In the evening, I enjoyed drinks and nibbles with Fiona, Trevor, and the other guests on the verandah, which was a lovely touch. The next morning, I indulged in delicious homemade muffins and coffee before starting my day. I was so taken with my experience at Grove Manor that I've already added it to my list of places to stay in Ashgrove for future visits. Trevor and Fiona truly made me feel welcome, even when I wasn't feeling my best the next day. I highly recommend this charming property with its caring hosts and homemade delights.

We loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The house was beautifully decorated and had a homely atmosphere. The hosts, Fiona and Trevor, were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They were also incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see. The breakfasts were delicious, and we especially enjoyed chatting with Fiona about life in Australia. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. We also loved the verandah, where we could enjoy our coffee in the morning. it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

The hotel is close to the city, with a regular local bus service only 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the shared kitchen was well-equipped. I especially enjoyed the delicious home-cooked meals and fresh fruit provided by Fiona and Trevor. the service was excellent, and I felt like I was staying with friends.

This charming B&B offers a convenient location, with easy access to buses into the city and major attractions. The hosts are known for their friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. Our Christmas stay was great, with delicious breakfasts and friendly hosts who made us feel at home. the room was very clean and comfortable. the location was fantastic, within walking distance of restaurants and shops, and close to all the sights.

The busy and awkward road and driveway leading to the property, which was a bit of a challenge to navigate. the lack of TV in the room was not a big deal for us as we like to disconnect, but it may be a downside for those who like to watch TV in their room.
