What a gem! the hosts are warm without being overbearing, and the Terrace room was a dream — so spacious, with a bed made for cloud nine 🌟! the gardens are lush and serene, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. A minor thing, we had to wait a tad for the bathroom hot water tap to warm up, but no biggie, the charm of the place trumps that any day.

I loved the fluffy bathrobes, fresh flowers in my room, and the gorgeous garden with fruit trees. the breakfast spread was delightful, and the staff was welcoming.

Maria and Wayne's hospitality was exceptional, and the breakfast spread was superb. Although road access and signage were minor challenges, the overall experience was truly memorable.

The location of this B&B is absolutely stunning. Situated down the Huon River, nestled between the mountains, you can enjoy breathtaking views right from your room's private deck. The room itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, with high-quality bedding and linen. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, from providing freshly picked flowers and luxury robes to offering a delicious breakfast with excellent coffee. The shared lounge area is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing by the roaring fire or enjoying a quick meal with fellow travelers.

Road noise in the morning with the window open can be a bit bothersome for those sensitive to noise.

The hosts were super cool, the rooms were rad, and brekkie was awesome. the lounge had tons of DVDs for movie nights, and the garden view was wicked. Plus, the location was primo for exploring nearby towns!

Wish there was a bit more late-night fun – like a mini bar or a chill hangout spot.

Staying at Hillside Bed And Breakfast was an absolute delight. My Terrace Room had stunning views of the river and a beautiful garden. The attention to detail was incredible, from the comfy bed to the cozy guest lounge with a log fire. I even got to pick fresh apples from the garden. Breakfast was a treat, with a delicious scrambled egg and ham dish. Jane and Doug made me feel right at home. I didn't want to leave this peaceful and cozy getaway. I highly recommend this hotel.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee facilities in the room, as well as the beautiful views of the river and the lush gardens that surrounded the location. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home in a homely atmosphere.

The continental breakfast was not refreshed often, making it limiting in options. We also had trouble accessing the Wi-Fi from the room and had to go outside to use our devices, which was not ideal during the Christmas season.
