I stayed at Ambassador Motel during a road trip on the Canadian side of Lake Superior. The room and bathroom were clean, and the linens smelled fresh. We were able to hook up my Apple TV and enjoy our favorite shows. The location right on the Trans Canada made it easy to find good restaurants on the waterfront. It was a great place to stay, and I would totally recommend it.

The pool area is also well-maintained, with change rooms and towels available. the on-site snack shack offers delicious burgers and fries, perfect for satisfying cravings after a long day on the road.

Access to plugs for charging electronics could be improved by providing a power bar in a more accessible location.

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with friendly and welcoming owners. The room we stayed in was away from traffic noise and had all the necessary amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee/tea maker. The parking was convenient and right in front of our unit. The pool and sauna were lovely and easily accessible through the back patio doors.

I absolutely loved the retro vibe of this motel. From the classic 50's sign to the well-manicured grounds, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The room itself was updated and clean, with a tiled bathroom that made me feel right at home. I appreciated the low pet fee and simple rules for my furry friend. The owner, Robin, was friendly and helpful, and the small snack shack on the property served great French fries. The convenient parking spot right outside my room and the easy-to-connect free wifi were added bonuses. I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ambassador Motel.

Although I wish the pool was open during my visit, I understand that it's not the hotel's fault. Additionally, the motel's exterior could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and some updates to make it more appealing.

The value for money at this motel was great and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for our needs and the staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to accommodate our requests.

our recent stay in sault ste. marie was fantastic, and ambassador motel truly exceeded our expectations. the renovated rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with free internet, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. the friendly staff even turned on the heat before we arrived, ensuring our comfort. the sauna and pool were a delightful bonus, allowing us to swim in the middle of winter.

Almost perfect.

Stayed at Ambassador Motel for one night during our road trip. The motel's location was perfect for us, just 2km from downtown with no traffic to deal with. The room was clean and quiet, despite being crowded. Loved the convenient parking right in front and the access to a beautiful pool area surrounded by trees. The pool room had a nice lounge area and the pool itself was open until 11pm. The staff was friendly and it was nice to support a family-run business. The on-site chip truck served amazing burgers and fries, a perfect treat after a long day on the road.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this gem of a motel. The room had a retro charm with all the modern amenities we needed. The sliding patio door opened to a peaceful green space with picnic tables, a perfect spot to relax. The indoor pool was an added bonus. we highly recommend this motel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
