I had a fantastic stay at Aurora Bayside Inn. The host was incredibly accommodating, even meeting me at the door despite my late flight arrival. The room was freshly renovated and beautifully decorated in bright white, making it a clean and inviting space. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed waking up to the stunning sunrise over Great Slave Lake. In the morning, I loved the communal breakfast area where I could enjoy coffee and toast while chatting with other guests. The location was perfect, offering a great view of the lake for aurora watching and easy access to downtown attractions. I highly recommend Aurora Bayside Inn.

That the bed was a bit saggy in the middle, but it was still comfortable for my partner and me. Additionally, the single shared washroom could sometimes lead to inconveniences depending on the number of guests.

The staff were friendly and helpful, quickly resolving any issues with WiFi in the cabin. Convenient bike rental shop across the road for exploring the old town. The Dancing Moose Cafe served an incredible breakfast. Watching float planes take off from the floating dock was a relaxing experience. Best of all, we were treated to a dancing aurora right outside our cabin!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy inn! The room was spacious, clean, and felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with quick access to both the airport and downtown, and the view of Great Slave Lake was stunning. The owner, John, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable - from providing us with delicious cinnamon buns for our early departure to his kind hospitality throughout our visit. This will definitely be our top choice for future trips to this beautiful destination.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Float plane Airport, providing a nice view of the lake. It is also close to the harbour, allowing guests to see boats passing by. However, it is not close to the town center. The rooms are comfortable and tidy, offering a cozy stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast served is tasty and satisfying. Guests can enjoy watching the Aurora from the second-floor porch or the backyard.

The hotel is a bit far from the town center, making it less convenient for exploring the city.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to key attractions in the area. the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a delicious variety of options to start the day.

There was no shower or bath in the room, and we had to go to the second floor of the main house for those facilities. the owner's attitude was also unfriendly, and when we raised our concerns, he dismissively told us that we could like it or leave it.

I traveled solo to Yellowknife for a ten-day trip and had an amazing stay at the Aurora Bayside Inn. The location was stunning, right on the lake in the quirky Old Town and within walking distance to downtown. The views from the sitting room were lovely, especially for watching the northern lights. The owners, John and Debbie, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food at the Dancing Moose café was delicious, especially the egg benedict and beef and bison burger. I will definitely be returning to this inn without any hesitations.

We loved watching the Northern Lights from the terrace, despite some light pollution from a neighboring advertising sign. the friendly staff made us feel like locals, and we appreciated their helpfulness with accommodating our requests.

Our overall experience was impacted by the dated and under-renovation state of the hotel. With all the rooms taken, we found the living room to be overcrowded.
