the early check-in was a nice surprise, the cabin was cozy, and the surrounding forest was peaceful. the location was perfect for the wedding we attended. Despite a few minor inconveniences, the overall experience was enjoyable. Heather was fantastic and I loved the separate cabins. the nature and artwork added to the charm of the place. A great home base for exploring the island.

The view from our cabin was absolutely breathtaking, and we loved being able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. being able to cook our own meals was a plus, as it allowed us to save a bit of money and have more control over what we ate.

The cabin itself felt a bit bare-bones, with minimal amenities and only one towel in the kitchen. the lack of dishes also made it difficult to fully utilize the cooking facilities.

We had a perfect quiet getaway for the long weekend. the location was close to the center of the island, surrounded by woods and beautiful scenery. the cabins were cozy and rustic, with a firewood stove and ample wood available. It was so relaxing to make a wood fire and unwind. the private little cottage was just what we needed, and our dogs loved exploring the nearby hiking trails.

There were a few things that could have been improved. the cabin we stayed in didn't offer much space to unpack clothing, which wasn't an issue for our short stay but may be a concern for longer trips.

The staff was responsive and considerate, even leaving water for us in the fridge knowing we were traveling by bike.

The kitchen supplies were minimal, making cooking meals challenging during our stay. Only a few glasses, pots, and utensils were provided, and there was a lack of basic kitchen necessities like a microwave and casserole pans.

All communication was done over the phone, and the office was always empty. Meeting the owners/staff in person would have been a basic aspect of hospitality.

We had a perfect getaway for some serious rest and relaxation. The private little cottages were just what we needed, and we especially loved that we could make a wood fire. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the location was so close to the ocean. We enjoyed our walks on the nearby hiking trails with our dogs. The beautiful and spacious cottages had private yards on a picturesque property. We were surrounded by nature, with birds flittering about and hummingbirds everywhere. We even saw 6 deer in the yard and 2 grey whales just a 10-minute walk away. The staff was friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

The location was perfect, close to amenities and beautiful parks. The staff was responsive and considerate, even leaving water in the fridge for us as they knew we were traveling by bike.

I appreciated the open door policy and the constant ferry activity. the wood burner and fresh supply of wood added to the cozy atmosphere. the resort's commitment to recycling, the washroom facilities, and the well-lit office with a small library were all great. the hot tub was a nice touch, though I didn't have a chance to use it. the best part was the tranquility of the place, even during the busy summer season.
