I got great value for my money at Haus Treuburg in Port Hood. The room was comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom and a very cozy bed. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach. The staff treated us well and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved by offering a coffee maker in the rooms. Having a cup of coffee in the morning is important to me, and it would have been nice to have that convenience available.

The room was cozy and the bed linens were nice. the home was beautifully decorated and well-maintained. the host gave a friendly welcome and there was a beautiful sandy beach nearby.

No coffee maker in the room and when we asked for a cup downstairs, it caused a minor incident. Limited common room space and no breakfast provided.

We had a wonderful time at Haus Treuburg! We stayed for the Celtic Colours Festival and found it to be a convenient drive to events in Judique and Mabou. The house is beautifully furnished with charming antiques and is kept spotless. Elbi is a fantastic hostess and Georg is an incredible chef. The comfortable bed and delicious breakfasts made our stay even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future.

The location was absolutely stunning, with direct access to the beach and a breathtaking view of the ocean. The sunsets were truly magical.

It would have been more convenient to have steps leading to the beach, as navigating the rocky terrain was a bit challenging.

The one bed house we stayed in had a stunning view from the veranda, and the property's private beach was a great bonus. The hostess was friendly and not intrusive, and the house had everything we needed. Plus, there's an adorable grey cat on the property!

The breakfast option could be improved by offering firmer pillows for a more comfortable sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay at Haus Treuburg in Port Hood! The value for the money was great, with comfortable and clean rooms and easy access to the beach. The highlight, however, was the exceptional hospitality we received from the owners, Georg and Elvi. They made us feel like family, even going above and beyond to make my husband's birthday dinner extra special. We can't wait to come back!

The only slight downside was that breakfast had to be reserved the evening before. It would have been more convenient if we could have just walked in and had breakfast without prior reservation.

the location was idyllic, with stunning ocean views and a charming atmosphere. Our hosts were warm and accommodating, providing an excellent meal and helpful information. It was the perfect stopover between Halifax and the Acadian Trail.

Towels were not replaced upon request.

Had a fantastic dinner at Haus Treuburg, the Shrimp/Asparagus pate and pretzel dough buns were amazing. The main course with lobster was out of this world. Breakfast was equally impressive with a wide variety to choose from. a delightful stay.

The hotel is located within walking distance of beautiful beaches, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the cottage we stayed in was fully equipped, clean, and had a great view of the sunset from the veranda. - the hotel is conveniently located near a grocery store and is a short drive away from the Cabot Links golf course and the Glenora distillery.

The route to the hotel by car is a bit of a detour, but still manageable. The TV in our room was a bit outdated, but we didn't come here to watch TV anyways.
