The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were personable and helpful. The location was convenient, providing easy access to the town and beaches. Parking was a breeze, and the hotel even provided extra light upon request. The large rooms had a unique and interesting design, and the on-site cafe served delicious food. I also loved the retro decor, complete with rotary phones, which gave the hotel a fun and stylish vibe. Lastly, the path behind the hotel that led to a bird sanctuary was a delightful surprise and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Zed in Tofino! The value for the money was great and the room was comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect, with pet-friendly amenities and a sunken living room to relax in. The staff were incredibly friendly and considerate towards my dog. Special shoutout to Nash in the lounge for going out of their way to provide me with delicious gluten-free meals.

The breakfast selection could have been better, with more options or variety to choose from.

We stayed in a cozy inn for Thanksgiving and were happy with the complimentary breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner provided. the location of the inn was perfect, with beautiful views of the inlet, and a short walk to the beach and nearby trails. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. We also appreciated having access to a fireplace on chilly evenings.

The room was a bit dated and could benefit from some updating. the lack of soundproofing was noticeable, as we could hear noise from neighboring rooms.

I took my daughter here for her 15th birthday and Hotel Zed exceeded our expectations! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and there's lots of fun things to do on-site. The hot tub had lovely views and it's walking distance to tacofino and the beach. The location is outstanding with a peaceful inlet and beautiful bird sightings. The room was comfortable and the restaurant had a good selection. The staff were kind, enthusiastic, and gave great tips for day trips and activities. Already booked our next trip!

I recently stayed at The Roar for a weekend getaway with my husband. The brand-new hotel had a fantastic retro decor, reminiscent of the TV series Mad Men. Our room felt like we were the first occupants, with comfy beds, a nice walk-in shower, and modern amenities like Netflix and Amazon Prime on the TV. The staff at the front desk were outstanding, and we loved the fun lobby area with its sunken "living room" and throwback 70's items. The location was perfect, with a direct path behind the hotel leading to a bird sanctuary, where we enjoyed sitting on wooden chairs and taking in the view. The staff were also incredibly friendly, making our stay truly memorable. The Roar exceeded our expectations and provided a unique and enjoyable experience.
