The cottage was well-equipped and had everything we needed for our Christmas getaway. the kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed to prepare our holiday meals. the location was fantastic, surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and close to a national park. We enjoyed exploring the area and immersing ourselves in nature. Another advantage was the availability of water toys on the lake. We had so much fun kayaking and canoeing - it was a great way to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

The size of the bedrooms. They were quite small, with limited space to move around the bed.

I recently stayed at Lakewoods Cottage for a week-long vacation and it exceeded my expectations. The studio cabin was perfect for our needs, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had a satellite TV, which was a pleasant surprise. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing all the necessary water toys for the lake, including canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. The property also had a playground for kids and a variety of yard games for everyone to enjoy. a fantastic experience.

I absolutely loved staying at the cottage. The cleanliness was top-notch, making me feel comfortable and at home. The fully equipped kitchen was a joy, as I enjoy cooking homemade meals. I was pleased to find everything I needed, from a tea pot to wine glasses. It even had a coffee machine! The location, right in front of the lake, was breathtaking. It provided a peaceful escape, and I enjoyed spending time on the water, whether it was swimming or just relaxing on the beach. The staff was also fantastic - friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back and highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

We had a great value for our money at this fantastic cottage near Algonquin Park. The room was super clean and everything looked brand new. The location was perfect, with beautiful scenery and access to water activities like kayaking and canoeing. The staff treated us like family and were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

The location on the lakeside was incredible, right next to the beautiful Oxtongue Lake. Additionally, being close to Algonquin Park's west gate was a huge advantage. The hotel facilities were excellent, with well-stocked and pristine kitchens in the cabins. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I recently had a delightful 2-night stay at a charming cottage near Algonquin Park. The cleanliness of the cottage was exceptional, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy for me to cook my own meals. The beautiful lake view just across the street added to the overall appeal. Although the bedrooms were a bit snug, the rest of the cottage was well-appointed and had everything I needed. The owner, Jeff, was friendly and accommodating. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this cottage to others. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back again.

Stayed at Lakewoods Cottage for 2 nights and had an amazing time. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and recently renovated throughout. The location was beautiful, with a lake right across from the cabin and a view from the dining area. We enjoyed the full kitchen, TV cable/DVD, and the comfortable space for our family. The owners offered discounted park access to Algonquin Park, and we took advantage of the canoes, kayak, and paddleboard. The Canada Day fireworks were a highlight, and our shih tzu loved the stay too. Will recommend!
