We had a wonderful stay at Maq Hotel for 4 nights. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient, close to the center. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. We loved the wood floors with rigs, it made our stay feel more like home. The modern decor was a nice touch. The interior of the building was beautifully redone, cozy and well-decorated. Despite the initial impression from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised once we stepped inside. The staff provided great advice on restaurants and shops within walking distance. Tea, coffee, fridge, and microwave were also provided.

We had a blast at The Maq! The staff was super friendly and greeted us with a smile. The decor was beautiful and always gave us something to admire. We loved the little Coleman cooler in our room and the front desk lady even offered to get us some ice when we needed it. The hotel had everything we needed, including comfy beds and lovely shampoos and soaps. The location was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance. We were able to bring our own bottle of wine and hang out in the lobby, or take a stroll around the area. a great experience for us party people!

We loved the funky atmosphere, colourful and fun coffee shop lounge. The shower in our room was amazing, and the soaps were lovely. We really enjoyed the free tea and coffee in the common room all day. The location was great, close to the water and downtown. It was a budget-friendly option with good service and a quiet room.

The rooms, although small and stuffy, are adequate and feature comfortable beds. Additionally, the included breakfast with a small coffee pot is a nice touch that adds to the overall value of the stay.

Although the hotel provided ear plugs, the street noise from pedestrians and vehicles at all hours was a bit concerning.

The hotel is centrally located in town, allowing guests to easily explore all the major attractions. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and dedicated to providing excellent service. There is a communal dining area with complimentary coffee and tea, as well as a communal fridge and microwave for guest use.

The lack of sound isolation between the rooms can result in noisy conditions at times.

I had a last-minute trip to attend a friend's birthday BBQ and found a clean room at the Maq Hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the locally made bathroom products.

I had an amazing stay at a hotel in Tofino with a prime location in the village center. It was perfect for my surf'n safari adventure, being close to restaurants and right on the Pacific rim coastline. The room was clean, comfortable, and recently renovated, with a new king-sized bed and stunning views out the windows. The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of towels. The staff was friendly and the service was top-notch. it was a fantastic experience.

The lack of a mirror in the bathroom, which would have been a nice addition for getting ready.
