The room at Oreland Motel was well-appointed and comfortable, though the bed was slightly soft for my liking. The kitchen was a bit dark, but the updates were nice. Some staffing issues and a possible missing item were disappointing, but overall a great stay with clean rooms and comfy pillows.

Reasonable price, recently renovated room with nice bathroom and comfortable queen bed. Direct vehicle access, convenient stove for cooking, plenty of power outlets and USB ports. Great location, very clean, and no disturbances from housekeeping in the morning. Strong shower pressure was a pleasant surprise.

I had a surprisingly excellent motel stay with all of the amenities, and I'd be happy to go again. The room was new and far better than most motel rooms. The owners readily provided for all of my questions and needs. The Oreland Motel has great beds, an abundance of pillows, lots of lighting and a new tower for USB and electrical cord plug-in. Our room was just renovated and everything was new. As a motel, you park in front of your unit. The owners were knowledgeable about the local area and restaurants. They also made good suggestions on local sights, including the Igloo Man who had built and attached two full-sized igloos in front of his house.

We had a great Christmas stay, the renovated rooms are clean and cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient. We also enjoyed the kitchenette and the comfortable beds. It was a perfect stay for the holiday.

The only negative aspect we found was the size of the room which limits the space for furniture. However, they still managed to pack many amenities such as TV, fridge, microwave, and even a special warming heater in the bathroom.

The air conditioner had a musty smell and was rusted on the outside, which was not pleasant. There was also some water damage in the bathroom, possibly leading to mold, which caused an allergic reaction for my partner and me.
