We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, right on the lake and in the heart of the Niagara Falls area. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with spacious rooms and common areas. We particularly loved the delicious and varied breakfast prepared by the chef/manager. The staff were extremely personable and helpful, making us feel right at home. Plus, parking was plentiful and convenient. this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it for a perfect getaway in this beautiful city.

Staying at Somerset's Master Suite was a dream come true. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views of Lake Ontario. The bathroom was luxurious, with a stand-alone shower and a separate tub. The service was exceptional, with the host going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast served was scrumptious, and we enjoyed sipping our tea on the private balcony overlooking the park next to the hotel.

The breakfasts were unique and delicious every day. The table had new and clean placemats and napkins. The other guests were wonderful. The location allowed us to walk to everything in the historic downtown. We enjoyed many events, tours, plays, and dinners.

the Master suite provided a breathtaking waterfront view of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. the suite was exceptionally spacious and beautifully decorated, with little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary wine. the full breakfast served each morning was delicious and creatively prepared. Kim, the host, was both professional and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. the location was perfect, with popular dining spots and attractions within walking distance. I can't wait to stay here again!

Our stay at Somerset - A Private Retreat in Niagara-on-the-Lake was absolutely delightful. The suites are beautifully decorated with stunning views of the lake from the lovely balconies. The common areas are cozy and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The highlight of our stay was definitely the warm hospitality of Jules, the hostess. She made us feel like dear friends and her homemade banana bread was simply heavenly. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the slightly dated bathrooms and the need for new mattresses, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Somerset - A Private Retreat to anyone visiting the area. our experience was wonderful and we can't wait to return.

I recently had the most beautiful stay at a gorgeous B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Somerset, as it's called, is a stunning home with meticulous attention to detail and luxurious finishes. The lake-front property offers breathtaking views and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The beds were to die for, and the breakfast served by the attentive host, Kim, was absolutely delightful. The location is perfect, within walking distance to local shops, parks, and historic sites, as well as a short drive to vineyards and farmer's produce stands. If you're traveling with a group, you even have the option to rent all three suites together. I highly recommend the Somerset for a couples getaway or any special occasion in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the lake and nearby attractions. the comfortable beds and luxurious linens ensured a restful night's sleep. the breakfast served was absolutely delicious, and the manager was extremely hospitable and friendly. the hotel's location on a quiet street added to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. the pillows provided were too soft and didn't offer enough support for our liking.

The breakfasts prepared by the chef/manager were different and delicious every day. the table was set with clean placemats and napkins, and the other guests were all wonderful. We were able to walk to everything in the historic downtown and participate in many events and activities.

The front door was a challenge to open every single time, and even the property manager had trouble with it. Additionally, the property manager was rude, condescending, and hard to get a hold of.

Stayed here for a weekend with my friends. the room had an amazing view of the lake and the breakfast was really tasty. We also liked that it was close to all the attractions in the area.

We had trouble opening the front door, which was a hassle every time we needed to get in or out of the hotel.

Beautiful location by the lake, with three high-standard suites. Well-managed by Julie, an attentive host. Homely atmosphere upon arrival. Highly recommended, away from tourist crowds but still within reach. Delicious and nourishing breakfast.
