We traveled to Muskoka for the Fire & Ice festival and stayed at Taboo. The hotel is lovely. Big spacious rooms, very comfy beds, amazing views. The staff was very friendly and there were a lot of winter activities for us to do. Great stay, definitely recommended.

Taboo Resort exceeded our expectations in terms of location and ambiance. Situated right on the shore of beautiful Lake Muskoka, the hotel offers breathtaking views that truly make you feel like you're in a dream. The attention to detail is evident, from the bright lights that illuminate the spacious rooms with their 18-foot ceilings to the delicious breakfast that offers a decent amount of options.

The only thing that could be improved was the lack of availability of rooms with two Queen beds.

We recently spent a weekend at a resort in Gravenhurst and had a pretty good trip overall. the views were absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful nature surrounding the resort. the beach was clean and the sand was gorgeous. the rooms were modern and comfortable, with nice bathrooms and comfy beds. We also enjoyed the fact that the resort had lots of activities for families with small kids, including warm pools, a playground, and a nature trail.

There were some aspects that could be improved. the biggest issue was the food.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful resort in Muskoka. The location of the resort is absolutely stunning, right on the shore of beautiful Lake Muskoka. The highlight of my stay was dining at the Boathouse restaurant. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My room was modern and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The service throughout my stay was top-notch, and the breakfast options were delicious.

The lack of convenient boat docking facilities.

The value for money at this resort was excellent, and our room was absolutely fantastic. The location was convenient with beautiful water views, and the staff treated us with utmost kindness and helpfulness.

We had a lovely Easter weekend by the lake. the staff was friendly and we enjoyed two complimentary activities. the location was perfect for exploring nearby towns and the sunset view was stunning.

The room was not as clean as we expected and some of the facilities were outdated. some of the activities listed on the schedule were not available and the prices for the ones that were available were quite high.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the shore of beautiful Lake Muskoka. The property was clean and the room was very modern. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the clean and nice pool and the private beach. The staff was very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even driving us between buildings when it was freezing rain. the resort grounds were well-maintained and clean, and the lake view rooms were definitely worth it. There were plenty of activities available within the resort, including pools, tennis courts, a water sports center, and a beautiful beach. the whole experience was simply stunning, and we can't wait to come back.
