We had a fantastic stay at this hostel tucked away in a residential neighborhood. The private twin room was tidy and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom. The hotel facilities, especially the spacious common area with a restaurant/bar and outdoor pond and garden, were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to help us, including giving us half price coffee coupons upon check-in. We also loved the convenient location, being within walking distance to the nearest metro station and having easy access to the main tourist sights in this city.

During my Christmas stay, I was delighted to find that the common area was the most impressive I've seen in a hostel. The bar had affordable drinks and tasty food, especially the fried rice. The outdoor patio with a koi pond was a great place to relax, and there was plenty of seating available. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I even had the chance to purchase freshly roasted coffee from them.

Although I enjoyed my stay, there were a few downsides. the noise levels in the hostel were quite high, with people constantly walking up and down the stairs and using their key cards, causing beeping sounds.

The room was surprisingly clean and well-maintained. the hot water in the shower was a delightful bonus. the hostel's bar and restaurant area was a nice place to unwind and relax. Additionally, the hostel's proximity to two subway lines and bus stops made it convenient to explore the city.

The WiFi at the hostel was extremely poor. It was practically non-existent in the rooms and even in the lobby, it was frustratingly slow.

I had a great experience staying at this youth hostel in Shanghai. the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. the room, especially for a hostel, was fantastic. They provided lots of facilities including a washing machine and hairdryer. I appreciated the fact that they locked the premises at night for added security. the instructions provided for finding the hostel were also very helpful. the location was convenient, being only a 5-minute walk from the YanAnXiLu metro station. the first floor of the hostel was lovely, and there was an excellent coffee shop downstairs. I also enjoyed the nearby YunNan cuisine restaurant.
