I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Harbin with a superb location. The hotel is situated right on the river, making for breathtaking views. I thoroughly enjoyed walking along the river's well-utilized pathway, which extended for miles. The icing on the cake was the mesmerizing ice festival, visible from the odd-numbered rooms. From my window, I watched in awe as the festival unfolded across the river. It was truly a sight to behold.

Although the hotel showed signs of aging, it didn't overshadow the positives of my stay. The rooms may have been small and basic, but they were clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel, enjoying the friendly and helpful staff, especially Alan Wang and Charly Xu. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, even spending time to ensure we got rooms on the same floor. The hotel had a great view and was conveniently located near the ice festival area if you take a taxi. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the complementary water. the hotel provided a functional stay in a good location for exploring the ice festival and other attractions.

We felt well taken care of and had no complaints.

The bed in our room was comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The hotel facilities, including the breakfast and coffee garden restaurant, were enjoyable and well-maintained.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the riverside view from our room, offering a great view of the Ice World. The breakfast and dinner at the coffee garden restaurant were good, and the separate plates of cheese provided daily were a nice touch. The team at the Horizon Club Lounge, especially Jessica and Charles, were extremely helpful, allowing us to use a PC and providing an internet connection to rebook our next hotel. The concierge was always there to assist with transportation issues. The manager even surprised us with a bottle of delicious red wine upon arrival. Easy access to the ICE Attractions and comfortable rooms made our stay enjoyable.

Felt like in a fairytale, no complaints at all.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious Chinese and Western food. the staff was friendly, polite, and always went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction.

The view from the hotel was amazing, especially during the winter season when you could see the ice festival across the river. the rooms were spacious and well, appointed, with a mini bar included in the room charge. Also, the ice palace and ice bar set up during the winter season were a unique and enjoyable experience.

The hotel's location was not very convenient as there weren't many eateries nearby. the Wi, Fi in the hotel lobby did not work well, which was quite frustrating.

The front desk staff were unhelpful and accusative when it came to finding our reservation. the large deposit required upon check-in seemed excessive.

A standout hotel experience! From the moment I arrived, the service was superb. The staff at Shangri-La Harbin went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The rooms were comfortable and had good temperature controls. The views of the river were stunning. The hotel even had a hot steam and sauna room, a rarity among hotels. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and exceptional service.

The hotel is perfectly located by the river, making it ideal for long walks along the scenic tree-lined path. The concierge staff, particularly one individual whose name I unfortunately forgot, was exceptional. He helped me arrange taxis charged by the hour, and was always friendly, helpful, and competent. The hotel is also conveniently situated for shopping and sightseeing, with easy access by taxi. Lastly, the ice festival held nearby was an unforgettable experience.
