I had a truly wonderful stay at Shangri-La. The staff was always attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. One day, we accidentally turned on the Do Not Disturb light and our room wasn't cleaned. However, when we called the front desk, they quickly sent someone to clean the room within half an hour. The concierge staff, particularly Justin Liu, was exceptional. They arranged for a private van and tour guide for our visit to the Great Wall and even provided a hotel bag full of water and fruit. The gym facilities were immaculate and the sauna was a great way to relax after a long day. The hotel garden was also a lovely place to stroll around. I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

Despite these positives, there were a few drawbacks. One of them was that my boyfriend experienced "hot tub rashes" after using the jacuzzi.

The service at Shangri-La was absolutely impeccable. The duty managers went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay, especially when our daughter fell sick. They sent thoughtful gestures like honey/pear drinks and small toys to cheer her up. The concierge also provided excellent recommendations for our outings. The staff at Valley Lounge were friendly and attentive. While there were some dated aspects of the Garden Wing rooms, they were still clean and comfortable. The breakfast at the coffee lounge had a great variety, although service could be improved. we enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La!

Additionally, the hotel had a fantastic spa with world-class professionals, who provided excellent service and a relaxing experience.

The hotel's location was not ideal, as it was a bit far from the city center and popular attractions. This made it less convenient for exploring the city and finding nearby restaurants and sights.

I got great value for my money at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy walks in Zizhu Park. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, from the young doorman Vermouth to the front desk personnel who checked me in. Everyone went above and beyond to assist me, including helping me with my luggage and arranging a fancy taxi to the airport. The jacuzzi, pool, and sauna were also fantastic amenities.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Beijing. The staff were outstanding, providing excellent service, care, friendliness, and helpfulness. They spoke English and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The room was very clean and had a lovely view. The hotel had fantastic fitness facilities and a beautiful pool. We also enjoyed the 12th floor executive lounge, where the staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. The rooms were spacious and the garden was lovely in nice weather. it was a great value for the price.

The breakfast buffet had a great selection of Western food, which was a pleasant surprise after three weeks in China. The restaurant staff were attentive and brought me coffee immediately. the service and cleanliness of Shangri-La made my stay enjoyable.

My stay at Shangri-La was fantastic! I was in Beijing for a conference and stayed at the hotel for a week. The room was spacious and the cleaning service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the gym facilities. Although the pool could have been larger and more trendy, nearby hotpot and Peking Duck restaurants were great. Grabbing a DiDi to the city was convenient and affordable, costing around RMB50 per ride. The hotel staff, from the friendly door man to the attentive front desk personnel, made my stay even more pleasant. The room was spotless and had all the necessary amenities, including a flashlight which came in handy during a power outage. The jacuzzi, pool, and sauna were a welcoming sight, and the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of Western food. Props to the restaurant staff who were quick to bring me coffee and provide excellent service. Special mention to Richard Qin, the concierge service leader, who went above and beyond to help me during a thunderstorm. The spa and pool facilities were top-notch and among the best I've seen worldwide.
