Nice views, clean, adorable gatito, above the main road to Monteverde but very quiet in terms of traffic. Coatis on the property too. All the kitchen appliances provided were great: hot water pitcher, coffee maker with filter, microwave, fridge, toaster. Great value option for a stay in Monteverde. Within walking distance to restaurants, bakeries, and the town center. Jose is an amazing host, helping with tours and transportation. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and a supermarket. The nearby Monteverde waterfall was a hidden gem. I highly recommend this lodge for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk away from local eateries. The beds were comfortable and the views from the hotel were amazing, especially during sunset.

There were some issues with bugs in the room, particularly little ants that were everywhere and made it difficult to keep food in the room.

We felt like a part of the family thanks to the warm hospitality of Ana and her husband. the small fridge, stove, and dining table allowed us to cook our meals and create a cozy home during our stay. the breakfast delivery to our room each morning was a lovely touch. We had an amazing stay at a charming lodge with breathtaking views. Our cozy cabana had enough space for all of us and the shower and kitchenette made our stay comfortable. The breakfast prepared by Jose's sister, Roxana, was delicious with a wide variety of options. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning sunsets and a clear view of the coast on sunny days. The location was perfect for me, as it was just a short distance from the main town and close to popular attractions like Curi-Cancha Park. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast delivery to my room was a great touch. The best part was the exceptional customer service provided by Jose, the host. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect, organizing trips, arranging transportation, and even helping me find my lost glasses. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely delicious, with options for everyone, including vegan choices. Plus, they even delivered breakfast to our room each morning.

One small confusion was that the shuttle services only went to certain attractions, not the ones nearer to the hotel. But it wasn't a big deal, as everything else was beautiful.

The lodge is surrounded by a forest, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere! Breakfast in the room was a great touch, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Who needs cozy when you have functionality? The room could use a bit more warmth, but hey, at least everything worked fine.

bella vista lodge exceeded our expectations during our celebrating anniversary. the amazing views of the mountains at sunrise and sunset were unforgettable. the comfortable beds, nice shower, and friendly staff made our stay even better.
