I recently stayed at La Palapa in Tamarindo for a week-long vacation. The hotel's location right on the beach was absolutely stunning. Eduardo at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The hotel provided great tours and beach massage services. We also loved the nearby Italian Cafe, which had amazing food, coffee, and a fantastic owner. The town itself had a great variety of food options and we met some friendly locals and fun expats. it was a very good experience.

This hotel was an unexpected gem that exceeded our expectations. the location is unbeatable. Situated right in the middle of all the action in Tamarindo, we were able to enjoy the bustling atmosphere and vibrant nightlife. Despite being close to two competing bars with music playing late into the night, our room was surprisingly quiet and we had no trouble getting a good night's sleep.

It was so convenient to be able to walk to the beach for swimming or to enjoy the stunning sunset. the hotel also had a great restaurant and bar, with a happy hour offer of 2-for-1 drinks all day. the staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We experienced a few inconveniences during our stay. On our first night, there was a water shortage that lasted until the following morning, which meant no showers or flushing the toilet.

The location of this hotel is perfect - right on the beach and in the middle of all the action in Tamarindo. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious with a comfortable king bed and even a kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was included in our rate too!
