The host went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic, offering helpful advice and even providing aloe for my husband's sunburn. the beach was just a quick walk away, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Another advantage was the relaxed and carefree atmosphere, making it the best place we stayed during our tour of the Pacific Coast.

Worst aspects were the bathrooms in need of restoration and the lack of diversity in the breakfast options. Additionally, the coffee could have been stronger.

We loved the unique concept of staying in a pipe and the homemade gym set up. The hotel was quiet and relaxing, with the soothing sound of the ocean nearby. The host, Phillipe, went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. He helped us with activities and had great connections in the area. The hotel is just a short walk from a beautiful beach.

We stayed at Pipe House for 5 nights and loved its proximity to the beach. Being a bit further from Tamarindo meant the beach wasn't crowded, making it perfect for surfing. The comfortable bed, availability of board rentals, and the option to book tours directly with the owner, Felipe, were all huge pluses. The nearby restaurants were delicious too! Felipe was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, even changing our tire. Gracias!

Felipe is always available for advice and questions. Perfect location, only 30 seconds from the beach. Rooms and common spaces are very clean

We had an amazing stay at this unique beachside hotel. The location was excellent, secluded and off the beaten track, perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms, made from pipes, were comfortable and clean, with great facilities. The sandy beach, just steps away, was perfect for learning to surf. We also loved the friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. Highly recommended for solo travelers looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We really got a good value for our money at Pipe House. The room was unique and comfortable, just as shown in the pictures. The location was amazing, being just steps away from the beautiful and quiet beach. Felipe, the host, was incredibly helpful and made us feel at home throughout our stay.

The Pipe House was a blast! Felipe, the host, really embodies the pura vida spirit. The AC in the sleeping area was comfortable, and the communal areas were clean. The private shower and toilet were a plus. The kitchen and lounge area made it easy to meet new people. The wildlife is incredible! Howler monkeys, orange crabs, iguanas, and geckos. And the beach is just steps away from the property.

My favorite part of staying at Pipe House was being just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Playa Grande beach. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and I loved spending my days relaxing on the sand. The unique layout of the hotel, with all the rooms centered around a communal kitchen area, gave it a cozy and charming atmosphere. I also enjoyed the abundance of nature around the hotel - waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and seeing parrots fly through the courtyard was a magical experience. The air conditioning in the rooms was a blessing, providing much-needed relief from the heat. Felipe, the owner of the hotel, was always there to help with any questions or assistance needed. I highly recommend Pipe House for its incredible location, unique design, and the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Playa Grande.

Pipe House offers unique, "Instagram-worthy" rooms and a cool outdoor gym. The owner is friendly and provides great recommendations. It's a social place, perfect for meeting new people. The staff is attentive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Located near Playa Grande, a clean and warm beach with plenty of activities. Pura Vida atmosphere.

Felipe, our host, was fantastic and made sure everything was perfect for us. The concept of sleeping in the pipe houses was really cool and the chill out area was very comfortable. The beach was just 20 meters away and absolutely beautiful. The staff was great and flexible with payment, allowing us to pay with PayPal when we ran out of cash. It was the cheapest option we found in the area and definitely worth it. a unique and enjoyable experience!
