Our stay at Chateau Des Grotteaux Pres Chambord was a fairy tale come true. The castle is full of history and magic, making us feel like princesses. The rooms are spotless and the mattress is heavenly. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of choices. The owner is informative and helpful, with great recommendations for exploring the area.

Staying in this dream-like castle was the best decision I made for my business trip. the location is perfect, allowing me to visit multiple tourist spots around the area. the owners were incredibly kind, providing me with helpful information before my arrival and even helping me make restaurant reservations. the castle tour was impressive, and I learned a lot about its history. the breakfast spread was divine, with delicious homemade jams and pastries.

The only downside of my stay was that it was too short. I wish I could have extended my trip to spend more time enjoying the castle's lovely garden, pool and other amenities.

This charming and luxurious château is nestled in the heart of the forest, offering a serene and picturesque escape. The elegant castle, with its impeccable grounds, instantly captivates you upon arrival. The rooms are beautifully decorated, exuding tranquility and elegance. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel like a friend of the family. The breakfast, served in a delightful common area, is a culinary masterpiece with homemade pastries and a wide selection of homemade jams. The château also offers fantastic facilities, including a stunning swimming pool and a recently renovated tennis court.

Dining options are limited as the château does not have a restaurant on-site. Reservations for lunch and dinner need to be made elsewhere.

Excellent service, warm welcome, fabulous atmosphere, fascinating history, unique experience. Beautiful rooms, modern plumbing, helpful staff, great location for cycling, lovely boutique shop. Pristine bathroom, heavenly mattress, peaceful grounds, delicious breakfast, informative owner. Tranquil swimming pool, not-to-be-missed region of France.

This hotel was a luxurious and exclusive place where I had a truly unique experience. the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with exclusive amenities. the sun terrace was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful garden area. the outdoor swimming pool was heated and the sun loungers were comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a long day visiting the nearby castles.

The only minor issue was that the entertainment options were limited. this was not a major concern since the location of the hotel provided easy access to nearby attractions and the exclusive room advantages such as in-room breakfast and private facilities made up for it.

The hosts, Gaël and Cécile, were so kind and helpful, giving us recommendations for local attractions and even sharing the fascinating history of the chateau. The room was comfortable and the modern bathroom was a plus. We enjoyed a peaceful afternoon by the pool. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby chateaux and the town of Blois. Although breakfast was a bit late for our liking, the complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks were a nice touch. we highly recommend Chateau Des Grotteaux Pres Chambord for a memorable stay in the Loire Valley.
