The hotel offered a nice swimming pool area with towels included, a spacious bedroom with a view of the pool, and a convenient location near a variety of restaurants and shops. the hotel's proximity to the busier area of the town was a plus.

The hotel was lacking in some amenities such as no English TV channels, no restaurant for dinner, and worn decor in need of a revamp. the breakfast was also not up to par with cold hot food and no efficient heating system.

I stayed at a hotel right on the Old Port, close to the railway station and in the centre of a busy town. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices including pastries and bacon. The hotel offered great views of the picturesque port. Additionally, the location was convenient for exploring the old town of La Rochelle.

The location of Le Yachtman was perfect, right opposite the bustling port with its array of restaurants and activities. The staff, especially Maude, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast, according to my wife, was very good. Despite the minor inconvenience of difficult parking, we opted for the secure parking for a reasonable fee of 10 Euros per night. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break.

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Yachtman in La Rochelle for a few days. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the old town area and surrounded by great restaurants. There was a lovely pool that I enjoyed having to myself most days. The staff was excellent, always helpful and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned daily and the upcoming refurbishment will only enhance the experience. it was a great value and I hope to visit again.
