We had an amazing stay at Hibiscus House in the Gambia. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner Sarah was actively involved and cared deeply about the wellbeing of her guests. the grounds were beautifully maintained, attracting a variety of birds and butterflies. the accommodations were comfortable and we enjoyed the exquisite food, especially the vegetarian options. the peaceful location away from touristy areas was a welcome change. We will definitely be returning!

I had a wonderful stay at Hibiscus House. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, with colorful birds bathing in the birdbaths. The hotel had both shaded and sunny seating areas, allowing me to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The staff provided excellent personal service, making me feel truly cared for. The village location added to the charm of the experience. The rooms were comfortable and the service was top-notch.

The rooms were outdated and in need of a refresh, with old and uncomfortable beds. the all-inclusive food options were lacking in variety and not very tasty.

The location of the hotel was great, right in the centre of a small village with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed taking a stroll to the almost deserted beach for a swim. The rooms were comfortable and had a nice view of the beautiful gardens. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was delicious.
