Friendly staff, family-friendly, great restaurant, convenient location, close to the castle, charming carriage ride.

Not one thing.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The location near the main castles was perfect, making it easy for my 86-year-old mother to walk to everything. Additionally, being close to the ticket office and transportation to the castles was incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay.

The breakfast offered had enough options to satisfy most, and the quietness of the hotel at night was greatly appreciated.

I must say, the value for money at Alpenstuben was impressive - clean, modern rooms with a great view of Neuschwanstein castle. The location couldn't have been better, walking distance from both castles and the ticket office. The staff were super helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

Conveniently located near Schloss Hohenschwangau and Alpsee lake, with an easy walk to Schloss Neuschwanstein. Comfortable bed, good WiFi, and clean room with cozy wooden furniture. Helpful staff assisted with castle tickets. On-site restaurant served great food and accommodated take-away breakfast.

I had a great experience at a cozy hotel in the heart of a beautiful tourist village. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk to the lake and close to the ticket office for the Castles. The staff were friendly and helpful, even organizing our castle tickets for us. The view of the castle from some of the rooms was amazing. The hotel also offered a nice, though small, restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. the location of the hotel was unbeatable, right in the heart of the village. It was so convenient to have the ticket and info center just a minute away. And the best part was being able to walk to Neuschwanstein Castle in less than 30 minutes, starting directly across the road from the hotel and through the beautiful woods.

On the downside, the cleanliness of the hotel could have been improved. I noticed some dust in the corners and on the radiator, and the toilette could have been cleaner.

We had the perfect location for visiting castles, with everything within walking distance. The view of Neuschwanstein castle from our balcony was awesome! The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel took care of everything for tickets to the castles. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a castle getaway.
