We got great value for our money at Hotel Gerberhaus. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the charm of the olde worlde building. The location inside the walls was perfect, and the staff treated us like family.

The hotel was in a great location, right inside the old city wall and very easy to find. Parking was free and conveniently located in the rear. the room was clean, bright, and had light wood furniture which gave it a nice airy feel. the breakfast buffet included in the stay was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from, all artistically presented. the staff was friendly and made us feel at ease, despite the language difference. the free internet was also a nice perk.

One negative aspect of our experience was at check out, where the staff tried to charge us extra, claiming that we had received a family room instead of a double room. They insisted that the confirmed price was only valid if the child slept in our bed.

The location was excellent, right inside the wall and beside the Plönlein, making it very convenient to explore the attractions. I particularly loved the view of the back garden from my room, where I could relax and watch the large TV screen. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, and they made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The basic amenities were all provided, including a computer with internet access and some toys for younger kids. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a vast choice of delicious options ranging from fruits and nuts to yoghurt and scrambled eggs. It was definitely one of the best breakfasts I had during my trip through Germany.

We were just a 5-minute walk to the town hall square and the main street, making it very easy to explore all the attractions. We were lucky to find parking on the other side of the hotel, which was free from 6 pm to 8 am. The hotel facilities were great, with a lovely outdoor area for socializing and enjoying drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hostess spoke perfect English. The continental breakfast provided a great choice of food and was served in a nice outdoor breakfast area.
