We were able to easily explore the area and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the town. The hotel's rooftop pool and bar were amazing, providing stunning views of the city and a relaxing oasis to cool off during the hot summer days. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist us with any questions or requests we had. The rooms were well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. we had a fantastic experience and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I recently stayed at a hotel in an excellent location in Heraklion. Capsis Astoria, located across the street from the Minoan Archeology museum, proved to be the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the easy access to the pedestrian walking areas from the back entrance of the hotel. The rooms provided stunning views across the city, and the location was just a 15-minute walk from the ferry port and bus station. Additionally, bus #2 to Knossos Palace stopped right in front of the hotel, making it convenient for exploring the area.

the location was ideal, just a short walk away. the breakfast at the hotel was amazing, with a wide variety of options including candied figs and lemons which I had never seen before in Greece. the staff were efficient in clearing tables and the breakfast room was recently updated and a pleasant place to dine. the rooftop terrace was spacious and never felt crowded. the hotel also provided excellent customer service - when we had an issue with our air conditioning, it was promptly resolved while we were out. the receptionist, Giannis, went above and beyond by offering us another room to freshen up in since we had a late checkout. this hotel was in a prime location and provided a comfortable stay with great amenities and exceptional staff.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Capsis Astoria in Heraklion. I was there for 4 nights on a leisure trip. The hotel's location near the airport was convenient, but surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially Yannis at reception who quickly resolved a room issue and even gave us an upgrade. The comfortable bed and perfect location were definite highlights. The rooftop pool and views were fantastic, and the bus to Ammoudara Beach was right outside the hotel. I loved every moment of my stay at Capsis Astoria.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. We were able to easily walk to many restaurants, the central shopping district, and the Venetian fort. The archeological museum was conveniently located just around the corner. The bus stop with a ticket machine right outside the hotel made it convenient to travel to and from the airport and to visit Knossos. The breakfast spread was amazing with a variety of fresh fruit, meat, cheese, yogurt, eggs.

The rooms were outdated and in need of renovation, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, our family room was located directly under the pool bar and lacked a balcony, making it less comfortable to stay in the room for longer periods.
