Breakfast starts at 8:30, which may be inconvenient for those with young children who wake up earlier. When leaving the room, removing the key from the magnetic slot shuts off the power, including the fridge.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. There are also many good tavernas nearby, so you don't have to go far for a delicious meal. the hotel is next to a bus stop, providing easy access to the city center and allowing you to explore the area. being close to the airport makes travel to and from the hotel a breeze.

Some guests mentioned minor issues with the water in the shower not draining properly.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment hotel on the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to Heraklion and the airport. The best part was the friendly and hospitable Greek family who always went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful vacation.

Menu for breakfast could have been more varied.

we had a lovely family holiday in Amoudara and Emi Seaside exceeded our expectations. The apartments were beautiful and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the beach service was amazing. We especially loved the host who made delicious cocktails. It was the best holiday we've ever had.

bathroom could use more amenities

I stayed at Emi Seaside for a week and it was perfect. The easy beach access and abundance of loungers were a major plus. The beach itself had soft golden sand and stunning views of Crete's mountains. The attentive and helpful staff always had a solution for any question or problem. The hotel's location made it easy to walk to restaurants and catch a bus to Heraklion. The room with a sea view was spotless, and the daily cleaning and fresh towels were a nice touch. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and the owner even made a reservation for us on the terrace overlooking the sea. The private beach was clean, peaceful, and never overcrowded. a perfect stay!

For us it was ideal.

The location was convenient, with easy access to buses that run frequently to the airport and downtown. the proximity to local restaurants with excellent food was a great advantage. Plus, the beach was just a short walk away, allowing for a quick and enjoyable dip in the sea.

The cleanliness was subpar, with hair found in the bathroom and garbage not taken away on the first day. the sheets had a peculiar smell and felt like they had fine sand particles in them.

Emi Seaside provided us with a less chaotic and peaceful base for our stay in Crete. the swimming pool area was lovely, with sun beds and shades, and the service at the pool and beach was excellent. We also appreciated the convenience of having grocery shops and restaurants nearby. we felt very welcome and the staff was kind and helpful.

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the private beach access with free sunbeds and umbrellas, perfect for relaxation after a long day. The breakfast was amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked well and quietly, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hosts and the whole team provided excellent service and made us feel well taken care of. a great base for exploring the Heraklion area, with parking available on site.

Cocktails and coffee were the best choice to relax, especially after exploring all those boring sights in Crete. The restaurant was ideal for a quick lunch or for pretending it was a special occasion.

The cozy lounge was not cozy enough. I mean, who wants to be cool in the summer heat?

the room was spacious, clean, and had excellent amenities such as air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. the bed was incredibly comfortable - even better than the one at home! the hotel was just a 2-minute walk from a beautiful beach and only a short 10-15 minute drive from the city of Heraklion. the owner, George, was extremely welcoming and helpful. He even stored our luggage and offered us a drink upon arrival. the hotel also provided lounges and umbrellas on the beach, which was a pleasant surprise. the location was great, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. There was also a convenient bus stop just outside the hotel for easy transportation to Heraklion.

We got great value for our money at Emi Seaside. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning sea view from the huge balcony. The location was fantastic, close to Heraklion and Knossos, and the staff, especially George, were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if it started a bit earlier.
