Staying at Helena was a delightful experience. the property was spotlessly clean with a central location near the port, restaurants, and cafes, just a minute from the beach. Theo, the owner, went above and beyond to assist me when I broke my ankle, providing his own crutches, taking me to the hospital, and ensuring my comfort throughout my stay. the room had a lovely balcony with an incredible sea view, and the overall hospitality was exceptional.

The rooftop terrace with sea view turned into my personal sanctuary during my stay. Sipping on a cocktail while overlooking the azure waters felt like being on a luxurious yacht, minus the sea sickness. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of Ios.

I recently stayed at Hotel Helena for a few days with my family and it was the perfect choice for us. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal, especially with small kids, as it was just steps away from a very child-friendly beach. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and our double room with sea view was bright and beautifully decorated, with a lovely balcony. The family room with a kitchenette and terrace on the ground floor was also very practical. we had a fantastic stay at Hotel Helena and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a personal and conveniently located hotel.

Not centrally located;

I've travelled to several places but staying at this hotel was a standout experience. the staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and taken care of. the room was spotless, and I loved that it was cleaned daily. the outdoor dining area was a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal, plus the sea view from my balcony was absolutely stunning. the hosts gave excellent recommendations for exploring Chora and the surrounding areas, making my stay even more enjoyable. I really appreciated the early check-in they allowed us and the communal area where you can socialize with other guests.

While the hotel is convenient to the ferry and has a couple of restaurants nearby, it's not as close to Chora as I would have liked. Having a small kitchenette in the room would have been a nice addition for those looking to prepare simple meals.
