We got amazing value for our money at Hotel Laekur. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a cozy bed and all the necessary amenities. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by nature and with stunning views. The staff treated us like family, always friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast experience would have been even better if it started at 7 am instead of 8 am. It would have allowed us to get an early start, especially considering the unpredictable weather and road conditions in Iceland.

We stayed at a delightful country hotel called Laekur and had an amazing experience. As we arrived, dinner was being cooked and the menu was great, with tasty food. the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which adds to the delightful natural ambience. the receptionist/co-owner gave us a tour and we were so impressed that we wanted to hug them. Staying here helped us forget the stresses of modern life and reconnect with what's important. It truly is a cozy family-run B&B with beautiful countryside scenery.

We loved staying at this little boutique hotel tucked away in the stunning South Iceland. The manager, who was incredibly charming and friendly, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He not only showed us to our room but also checked with the chef to see if they could accommodate us for dinner, as we arrived late. The surroundings were beautiful, and the food served at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. As trekkers and a group of friends, we appreciated the warm hospitality and the personalized attention we received during our stay.

This hotel is nestled in the foothills in a beautiful place, right by a stream. The rooms are spacious with underfloor heating, and my room had a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast was great with an assortment of nuts and offered a stunning view at 7:20 am.

Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams, pate, and fresh breads. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. the family-owned and operated atmosphere made us feel welcomed and at home.

Reception closes at 10pm, so there is no wake-up call for Northern Lights activity after that time. Facilities were not as luxurious as other nearby hotels, but the competitive price made up for it.

The room was spacious with a clean bathroom, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was decent and satisfying. The sauna and jacuzzi were a great way to relax, and the family dog was a delight to play with.

The road leading to the hotel was not well-maintained, which made transportation difficult.
