Amazing food, especially the lamb shank. Rooms had everything we needed. They gave us a cool map with all the best spots. Great base for horse riding and fishing. Definitely coming back!

I had the best stay in Iceland at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help, pointing out local scenic attractions. The motel-style rooms were spacious and recently constructed, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The attached restaurant served some of the best meals I had during my entire 18-day stay in Iceland. The central location of the hotel allowed for easy exploration of the entire Snaefellnes Peninsula.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Snaefellsnes Formally Hotel Rjukandi. The room was great, with a huge bathroom and comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and very helpful, providing us with a map and pointing out the best places to visit. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread. And even though the location was not the most picturesque, it was still central and convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

They even provided us with a map featuring all the must-visit places in the area, which was a great help. the restaurant was cozy, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes served by efficient yet warm staff. It truly felt like a hidden gem close to the Snaefellsjokull area. the owner's daughter was also very knowledgeable about the area and gave us fantastic recommendations for our sightseeing.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location of Hotel Snaefellsnes. It was the perfect starting point to explore the peninsula. The hotel itself was nice, with a basic structure but still had a charming atmosphere. The price was a bit high but in line with the rest of the country. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that we had the best possible time. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the facilities were excellent. We even had a special visit from a flock of sheep one morning which added to the unique experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were the absolute nicest people, making us dinner even though we arrived late. They encouraged us to take our time and were very helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the peninsula and the national park. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the staff knew the area well, providing helpful tips on what to see on the peninsula.

We stayed at Snaefellsnes Formally Hotel Rjukandi in Vegamot and it was by far the best place we stayed at our whole trip. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the owner's daughter even made us a personalized map of Snaefellsnes with all her favorite places to visit. the cozy and clean rooms, along with the delicious food and breakfast, made our stay truly enjoyable. With only 14 rooms, it had a warm and friendly vibe, and it was in a great location. We highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Iceland, especially if you're exploring beyond the golden circle.
