The view from the room was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful mountain and glacier view. the room itself was clean and stylishly minimalist, giving it a modern and sleek feel. the shower was spacious and provided one of the best showers I had during my trip. the on-site restaurant served delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast.

We couldn't leave the window open overnight due to the sound, and it made the room a bit hot even with low heating. It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room as well.

I recently stayed at Lilja Guesthouse for 4 nights during my trip to explore the beautiful Icelandic countryside. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Despite the rooms not having a kitchenette, they kindly helped me boil pasta without any extra cost. The guesthouse is situated in a great location for viewing the Northern Lights and the breakfast served was superb. The rooms were clean and the views of the surrounding mountains were stunning.
