I recently stayed at Snorri's and had a wonderful experience! My room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the pecan nut pastry. I also appreciated the ample parking around the hotel and the convenient location within walking distance of the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I will definitely book at Snorri's again when I return. Thank you for a lovely stay!

the room had a sink and kettle/coffee machine, which was a big bonus. the staff were helpful and provided detailed instructions on how to access the property. the breakfast was great with a variety of options. the guesthouse made me feel comfortable and at home, and I highly recommend it.

What a gem! My first time in Iceland and I was there for a cycling event in another part of the country. I had 2 nights in the city and wanted a more personable experience. Snorri's Guesthouse was the perfect choice. The location was easy to find and park, and it was close to main streets and stores. The clean and cozy room had its own fridge, coffee maker, and desk. The breakfast selection was great, especially for someone on a budget. The family and staff were lovely and made me feel welcome. I would 100% recommend and return.

There was a slight sulfuric smell in the hot water in the shower, but it didn't linger on my skin. Also, the lack of ventilation or AC in the room meant I had to sleep with the windows open, and the noise from the nearby road disrupted my sleep.

The rooms at Snorri's were clean and comfortable, and the owners were welcoming. They even loaned me a phone charger for the entire week! The location is great, making me feel at home during my stay. The location of the guesthouse was extremely convenient as it was just a short walk down the street to the main shopping street. Additionally, it was very near a bus stop for tour pickups, making it easy for me to explore the city and go on various excursions. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep.

One negative aspect was that the water in the shower had a slight odor, although I learned that this is quite common in Iceland and not specific to this guesthouse.

I stayed at Snorri's Guesthouse for one night and it was absolutely perfect. The owners, Sirry and Armann, are incredibly hands-on and made me feel like I was staying at a home away from home. They upgraded my room to a double with a better view and provided all the amenities I needed, such as extra towels, a fridge, and a coffee machine. The room was clean and beautiful, and the breakfast prepared by Sirry was phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I will definitely be staying here again whenever I visit Iceland.

My experience during Christmas was not pleasant. To add to that, the heating system was not working well, and my room was freezing.

The owners were super helpful, providing great recommendations and making delicious breakfasts. The facilities were nice and in a quiet area. The bed was cozy with a traditional Scandinavian comforter. The location was conveniently close to buses, the church, and restaurants.
