My recent stay at The Residency in Chennai was excellent. I was in town for shopping and stayed here for a few days. The hotel's location was perfect as it was close to the popular shopping areas of bondy bazaar and t.nagar. This made it convenient and cost-effective for me to travel around by auto. The staff at the hotel were extremely pleasant and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. I must mention Mr. Arun at the Spice Jar who went out of his way to provide great service. The hotel also provided good value for money, with a reasonable price for the room. The food, although not exceptional, had a decent taste. The staff, including the executive chef, were polite and ensured that I had a pleasant dining experience. The hotel also offered free and reliable wifi, which was a bonus. The toiletries provided were of good quality, ensuring a comfortable stay. I had a minor issue in my room where I found a small nail, but the manager promptly addressed the issue, apologized, and even removed the item from the bill. The executive chef also came to my room personally to ensure everything was okay. As a gesture of apology, the hotel did not charge me for room service food, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. I had a very enjoyable stay at The Residency and would definitely choose to stay here again when I return to Chennai.

The breakfast spread offered a wide variety, including millet options, catering to our dietary preferences. The clean and comfortable rooms made for a pleasant stay. We felt more than at home during our stay, with the hotel staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

We had a wonderful time at Residency. The buffet spread in Spice Jar Restaurant was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of starters, seafood, and vegetarian options. The dessert counter had a wide selection of Indian sweets and cakes. The friendly service and attention to detail by Chef Ganesh and Chef Kishore made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The location in the heart of the city was convenient, and the decor of the restaurant was pleasant. we highly recommend Residency for a top-rated dining experience.

The Residency in Chennai is an excellent choice for business travellers due to its prime location, nearby market area, and good hotel options. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The quality of the hotel and services provided justified the cost. The FNB service was good, and the surprise upgrade and cake for a newly married couple was an excellent gesture.

Attended a fabulous event in their banquet hall. Ended the day at Bike & Barrel with a nice beer. Enjoyed a variety of dishes at Pavilion, especially the buffet. The Respa spa services were tempting and helped me rejuvenate. The Residency group has charming boutique hotels worth visiting.

Room cleaning was a bit lacking, had to ask for basic amenities such as hand towels and soap.

I recently stayed at The Residency hotel in Chennai for 5 nights during a business trip. I was very impressed with several aspects of my stay. the room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of work. Secondly, the WiFi connection was excellent, allowing me to stay connected and productive. The in-room service was also top-notch, with prompt and efficient delivery of any requests I had. I must also mention the Chinese restaurant, Chin Chin, which had delicious food and a friendly staff who made dining there a memorable experience. Moreover, the entire hotel staff, from the doormen to the managers, were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to cater to my needs, even if it was not part of their job responsibilities. Lastly, the hotel's central location made it convenient for me to navigate the city and explore during my free time.

We were really impressed with this place! It's in a great location, so central and close to all the shopping areas. The staff were fantastic - so friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. We especially appreciated the room service, car hire and shuttle service. The room was really comfortable and well appointed - lots of great amenities like tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV. We also loved the leisure facilities - the spa and fitness centre were amazing!

We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
