Our stay at Taj Connemara was absolutely wonderful! The staff went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service, even delivering an early morning breakfast to our room before our flight. The food in their restaurant, Raintree, was some of the best Indian cuisine we've ever had. we highly recommend this iconic and historic hotel.

Located near the US embassy and airport, this hotel offers a comfortable stay. The Verandah cafe serves authentic South Indian cuisine and the Raintree offers generous portions of tasty food complemented by freebies. The hospitable staff gives personalized attention, providing a historical tour of the hotel. The spacious, well-maintained rooms are decorated elegantly, has a lovey balcony view of the beautiful swimming pool, and well-equipped with comfortable beds. The breakfast offers a wide range and high quality.

This hotel was an absolute haven of luxury. the exclusive amenities were outstanding, from the sauna to the outdoor swimming pool and even the spa centre. the massage was utterly indulgent, and the treatment room was spacious and relaxing. the restaurant on, site was exceptional, with a delicious buffet breakfast that catered to all tastes and special diet menus.

The only minor issue I encountered was that the public areas were over air, conditioned, making it slightly uncomfortable at times. this was easily remedied by spending time in the sun terrace, with its comfortable sun loungers and beach umbrellas, or the garden area, with its lovely frangipani trees.

We had a fantastic city break in Chennai, staying at a hotel that really exceeded our expectations. the breakfast buffet was amazing, with a wide variety of special Indian cuisine that tasted fabulous. the staff was extremely friendly and always went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We also loved the location, with easy access to the metro and a nearby shopping mall, making it a truly convenient stay. Lastly, we enjoyed the little treats that were brought to our room in the afternoon, it made us feel like we were truly being taken care of.

it was difficult to access the hotel on foot as there was only a boom gate to enter. However, despite these small complaints, our overall experience was extremely positive and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the city.

The central location of the hotel made it easy for us to explore Chennai's business and tourist attractions. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel offered all the services one would expect from a top-notch hotel brand. Despite a few minor issues, the kindness and friendliness of the staff made our stay truly special. I would highly recommend the Taj Connemara for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chennai.
