Room view wasn't ideal as it faced a side road with electrical cables outside the window. But hey, I've seen worse views in Japan, like a selfie I took with Godzilla towering behind me.

The staff at Glou Higashi Shinjuku were incredibly accommodating and helpful during my stay. When I arrived early due to the approaching typhoon, they allowed me to check in early and even provided useful tips on how to navigate the storm. I also appreciated that the room was clean and, though small, similar to other accommodations in Japan. I would recommend this hotel.
