I had an amazing experience at The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, Autograph Collection. The room was huge and beautifully designed with a blend of Japanese motifs and international themes. The free parking was a bonus for me as I was driving. The staff was efficient and even gave me a room upgrade. Although the hotel is a bit far from the train station, it's worth it for the spacious and comfortable accommodations. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay in Kyoto.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was exceptional, with a free upgrade to a suite. The beds were comfortable with soft mattresses and fluffy doonas. The hotel facilities were great, with a sitting room, bedroom, and a luxurious huge bathroom. The tranquil forest views outside our window were truly picturesque. The staff at the hotel were charming and welcoming, always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've ever had, offering a fantastic smorgasbord of Japanese and Western food. The location of the hotel in pleasant surroundings, surrounded by gardens and near a lovely park, made our stay even more delightful.

Stayed here for New Year’s Eve. the suite upgrade was definitely a highlight and having a sitting room and bedroom were much appreciated. the forest views from the room were breath-taking and added to the tranquility. the fluffy comforters added to the coziness. the bathrooms were huge and luxurious. Location-wise, it was easily accessible through a subway which was only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. the charming staff made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The hotel is quite far from the main city center and getting around was a bit of a hassle. the subway ride was great but not having it included in the JR pass was a bit of a letdown.

Convenient to the International Convention Center

I stayed at this hotel during a conference at the nearby International Convention Center. The location couldn't have been more convenient, as it was just across the street. I appreciated the underground passageway that connected the hotel to the Kokukaisaikan subway station, making it easy to explore the city.

During our stay at The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, Autograph Collection, we were blown away by the spacious and luxurious room. It had 2 large single beds, a comfortable lounge area, and a beautiful bathroom with a relaxing bath. The hotel grounds were immaculately maintained, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The breakfast offered a delightful mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, catering to all tastes. Despite the limited English TV channels, we still enjoyed our stay and found it to be incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel for its grandeur and comfort.
