I had a really authentic experience staying at Cabin & Capsule Hotel J-Ship in Osaka. The way they optimized the space and provided enough room for everything was impressive. The traditional Japanese bath was a special touch that I really appreciated. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by their flexibility in allowing me to cancel one night stay due to a typhoon.

In terms of drawbacks, it was a bit inconvenient to have to remove my personal belongings from the capsule every day. Additionally, the lack of windows in the capsules made it a little dark inside.

The hotel offers great complementary services such as a cute lounge with coffee and vending machines, and a sento that is perfect after a long day of sightseeing. the location is also a plus, as it is very near to the south exit of the train station. Another advantage is the cleanliness of the hotel, spotlessly clean on all floors.

For those who want to check-in early, note that it might be difficult as the check-in time is later in the day. the rooms are not soundproof which could be disturbing for some sleepers who need a more private sleeping environment.
