The Lake Saroma resort exceeded our expectations. Stunning lake view, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and futons. Delicious buffet with fresh seafood and juicy steak. Clean facilities and a relaxing onsen.

We had a truly wonderful experience here. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The facilities are top-notch, with an amazing onsen that provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The traditional rooms have breathtaking views of the lake, especially during sunset. The hotel shop offers a wide range of items at reasonable prices, making it convenient for guests.

We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with enhanced comfort and quality services.

Great sashimi platter during dinner. Secluded location by Lake Saroma with stunning views. Recommended to book for half or full board due to lack of nearby restaurants. Staff tries their best with English communication. Hot spring available. Limited food options but fresh and acceptable taste. Large portions of seafood served at buffet. Lovely melon in breakfast buffet. Excellent customer service and sincere staff. Souvenir shop with Japanese goodies and drinks available.

Best Xmas getaway ever! Amazing lake view from the room, delicious dinner buffet with fresh seafood and attentive staff. Loved the quiet location with opportunities for relaxation and peacefulness. the traditional Japanese style room was cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect atmosphere for a winter holiday.

Worst aspects? the isolated location could be a difficulty if you're looking for other entertainment options outside the resort, but if you're in search of tranquility and contemplation, then it's the perfect spot.
