The location of this hotel was great, with a popular market and nightlife area nearby. the hotel was also very clean and had a modern, high-tech feel to it. the shared shower room with individual cubicles was a standout feature, providing privacy and convenience. Additionally, the hotel had a laundry facility available for guests to use.

The beds in the room were a bit uncomfortable, with one bed positioned higher than the other. the lower bed lacked an extra light or lamp, which made it inconvenient for reading or other activities.

Great location: the hotel is centrally located, close to shopping areas and public transport. It's also within walking distance of Nishiki Market and Gion, making it a convenient base for exploring Kyoto. Clean facilities: the bathrooms and showers were always very clean, and there were plenty of sinks and toilets available. the showers even had a dry area, which was helpful for getting dressed and undressed.

Limited storage space: the rooms were on the smaller side, and if you had a large suitcase, it might be a bit challenging to find space for it. This is something to consider if you plan on staying in a single-person room with a lot of luggage.

loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, close to Nishiki markets and Gion. Sightseeing buses were nearby too. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze with the automated system. The female-only bathroom was clean and they even provided a blow dryer and toothbrush. The staff was friendly and helpful. a great experience!

As longer term business travelers, we absolutely loved the comfort and convenience of the solo-rooms at The Pocket Hotel. The rooms were calm, comfy, and clean - a perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring beautiful Kyoto. The beds were amazing and the room tablet made it easy to check availability and manage our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything we needed, including pajamas, and the well-organized showers were a great added touch. The location was perfect for getting around, and the surrounding area was lovely. This hotel truly made our dream trip to Kyoto even more excellent, and we can't wait to come back.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. the location is superb, with easy access to public transport. It is situated right by the old market, making it convenient to explore the local culture and cuisine. Secondly, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, always ready with a smile. Lastly, the rooms, although small, were well-equipped with basic amenities and a comfortable double bed. this hotel offers great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.
