I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable room at the Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Shijo. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel staff were exceptional, providing helpful recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. The location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and popular tourist sites. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Kyoto.

the location was perfect, with Shijo Station just a short walk away, making it convenient to travel around the city. the hotel itself was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and always ready to assist. I especially appreciated the fully equipped room, complete with an air purifier. having a Family Mart and 7eleven nearby was convenient for late-night snacks. it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location couldn't have been better - just a 5-minute walk to the subway station and bus stops. Being near the centre of the action was a big plus. The staff was extremely helpful and efficient, always with a smile. The room was well-appointed and posh, exceeding my expectations for the price. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The hotel had all the facilities I needed, including a bathtub in the spacious bathroom. The hotel's proximity to transportation options made exploring the city a breeze.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The location is perfect, being away from the central tourist hub yet so close to Shijo subway and having good transport network, it was easy to visit most of the popular tourist destinations. The staff were accommodating and provided great service, we enjoyed the welcome drink and the clean room amenities such as towels, refrigerator, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV. The hotel facilities were top-notch, from the soundproofed rooms to the restaurant and bar/ lounge area, there was something for everyone.

The room was spotless and cozy. the staff was helpful, especially the lady receptionist at check-in. the location was great, near both a subway station and bus stop. It was easy to get around and explore the city.

Some minor improvements could be made. It would have been helpful to have a map of nearby bus stops, and the staff could have been better at speaking English.

Convenient location opposite the station. Helpful staff and great continental food. Impressive use of breakfast ticket for lunch. Subway, supermarket, shopping street within walking distance.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro station, making it easy to explore the city's main sightseeing attractions. The surrounding area is considered a good neighborhood, with shops, food, and restaurants within close proximity. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a luxurious experience for guests. Guests are also pleased with the courteous and helpful staff, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel offers facilities such as a coin laundry and a free ice machine on level 2 and level 7 respectively.

The restaurant's operating hours could be improved to cater to guests who want breakfast or dining options outside of designated service times.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in central Kyoto. The location was perfect, with easy access to train stations, taxis, and nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the staff did a great job maintaining it. I particularly want to mention Miss Ishida at the front desk, who provided exceptional service throughout my stay. She was gracious, welcoming, and went above and beyond to assist me. The hotel also provided free water, coffee, and tea in the room, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and wonderful service.

Loved the smell upon entrance :). Very helpful and friendly staff, great restaurant recommendations and assistance with communication. Great location, close to main sights. Would stay again as a solo traveller.

Felt like it was our own home, no complaints at all.
