We had a splendid Christmas experience at this hotel. The fabulous view from the hotel and nearby observatory was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and efficient in check-in and luggage handling. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all necessary amenities. The highlight of our stay was the delicious kaiseki multi-course meal in the hotel's Japanese restaurant, which we enjoyed immensely.

The hotel could certainly benefit from some updates. The carpets were old and in need of replacement. Also, the lack of wifi in the rooms was a major disappointment. Though the location was stunning, the road leading up to the hotel was narrow and winding, making it a bit challenging to get to.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here! The location of this hotel on the hill provided breathtaking views of the Bay below, especially during sunset. The room we stayed in was larger than most in Japan and the little balcony was perfect for capturing beautiful photos. The cleanliness of the bathroom was impressive, and we enjoyed a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. The onsen that my husband tried was a great experience, especially since it was empty when we visited. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We highly recommend this place to everyone.
