As a woman traveling alone, I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially the two Filipinas at the front desk and the Indian man on the evening shift. The security team on the ground floor was also very nice. The accessibility and safety of the room were top-notch, and the reception was welcoming and efficient in the registration process. Despite not being able to try out all the facilities, such as the restaurant, due to being busy outside the hotel, my overall experience was great.

One negative aspect of the hotel is that the food at the sohor time was reported to be very poor and not good at all in one of the reviews, which might be a disappointment for guests looking for a satisfying dining experience.

I stayed at Ibis hotel in Salmiya for a week for business purposes. The location is fantastic, with a shopping mall across the street and plenty of cafes nearby. The room, although small, was cosy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the WiFi was very fast. The view from the room was great, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. The hotel staff, especially Louis and Mohamed Ali at the reception, were friendly and available. I had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel.

The nearby restaurants and dessert places were lively and vibrant in the evenings. The Marina Mall is a short ride away and offers a ferry trip to Failaka Island with lunch and activities included.
