I had a fantastic stay at Mandarin Hotel. The location was incredibly convenient for visiting Ocean Park with my kids. It was just a short walk away, which made our trip so much easier. The front desk clerks were also very accommodating and a joy to talk with. I would highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

Convenient location near restaurants, shopping, and market. Easy access from airport with nearby bus stations. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern rooms with ample space. Reasonable price for excellent value. 👍

my recent stay at kota kinabalu was amazing, but Mandarin Hotel made it even better. the staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. the clean room, comfy beds, and convenient location near malls and restaurants exceeded my expectations. highly recommended!

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. The location was perfect, with great restaurants nearby and easy access to the airport and bus station. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the free transfer to the airport was a great perk. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the stunning view from my room.

The internet speed could have been better.

This hotel is located right in the center of everything, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. Its central location in the business district of Kota Kinabalu means that you have easy access to public transportation and are within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. The staff at the reception are polite, efficient, and accommodating, providing a level of service that rivals even 5-star hotels. The rooms are spacious, with enough space to lay out both our bags and come equipped with all the basic amenities you could need during your stay, including free breakfast.

One minor detail that could be improved is that one of the plugs in the room wasn't working, but otherwise, everything was fine.

Great Easter experience! the hotel's location was perfect with plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. the staff were very helpful and accommodating, I was able to check in early which was great. the rooms were very clean and the complementary shuttle service to the airport was a great bonus.

The soundproofing of the rooms could be improved, as I was able to hear some noise from the adjacent room. Unfortunately, there was also some noise from the nearby nightlife which could keep some light sleepers awake at night.

We had a fantastic stay at Mandarin Hotel! The receptionists were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, with excellent daily housekeeping. We loved that every afternoon when we returned, our room had been tidied up. The free airport shuttle service was a major plus. This hotel is definitely our go-to for future trips to Kota Kinabalu. Great value for money!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right at the entry to the Gaya Street Sunday Market. There are plenty of eateries around, and convenience stores and pharmacies are just around the corner. The Filipino Market, KK Market, and a shopping mall are within walking distance. The hotel also offers free airport transfer on check-out.
