nature lodge exceeded my expectations during this stay in sepilok. the staff were incredibly helpful and even went out of their way to pick me up after i had a drink elsewhere. the rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless, with plenty of storage and free filtered water. the location was perfect, with the orangutan sanctuary and rainforest discovery center just a short walk away.

The location is very convenient for wildlife discovering, with attractions like the Orangutan Recovery Centre and Rainforest Discovery Centre within walking distance. The staff, especially the restaurant staff, are friendly and polite. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well. The property is clean and well-managed. The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast and the food for dinner is good. There is another good restaurant across the road for variety.

The room was huge, the bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable and everything was impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with all our needs. Papa Bear's local knowledge was invaluable and the recommendations he gave us were spot on. The food was delicious and the location couldn't have been better - with the Sepilok rehabilitation centre and Sun Bears within walking distance and the Rainforest Discovery Centre next door. It was an amazing stay and great value for money. Highly recommended.

The location was so convenient, just a short 20 min walk to the amazing sanctuaries! The dorm rooms were absolutely fantastic, super clean and cosy with the best aircon. The beds were incredibly comfy too, had the best sleep ever! Loved hanging out on the nice balcony area, such a chill spot. And the breakfast. oh my goodness, it was totally delish! Definitely exceeded expectations!

I loved waking up to the sound of birds and being surrounded by nature. The location was perfect for visiting nearby attractions. Delicious breakfast. Clean dorms with aircon.

It's amazing how a "nature" lodge can be next to people treating dogs cruelly. Unbelievable!

We stayed in a private room with our own little outdoor jungle bathroom which was great - the shower is probably the best shower I had during my entire trip! The room was basic, but the bed was comfortable. Great little shop onsite and friendly staff.

I had an amazing time at Nature Lodge! I stayed for a few days while visiting the nearby orangutans and Uncle Tans for the Kinabatangan tour. The staff were incredibly friendly and the on-site restaurant served delicious food, especially when they cooked off the menu. The dorm room was spotlessly clean and tucked away in a beautiful setting surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. Plus, it was only a short 10-15 minute walk to the orangutans and RDC. I loved the simple yet nice breakfast and the overall cleanliness and newness of the place. Staying here was definitely a better choice than staying in town!

The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting the Sepilok Orangutan and Sun Bear sanctuaries, as well as the Rainforest Discovery Centre. I loved the clean and comfortable lodges, especially the bathroom areas. The staff, particularly Papa Bear, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The local food served in the small restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. Plus, being limited Wi-Fi allowed me to disconnect and fully enjoy the surrounding wildlife. I highly recommend this hotel for nature enthusiasts.

Mind-blowing location! Just a short walk to see orangutans and sun bears. Super helpful staff. Clean bathrooms. Great breakfast buffet with variety. Laundry service provided. Close to main attractions. AC in room works well. jaw-dropping experience!

We were highly impressed with Nature Lodge. The dorms were new, clean, and well organized, providing ample space. The dorm bathroom was also large and impeccably clean. The value for money was exceptional, and the location was conveniently close to the Rainforest Discovery Centre. The included breakfast buffet had a great variety of vegan and vegetarian options, making it a pleasant dining experience. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and we highly recommend Nature Lodge.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was large and clean, and I absolutely loved the outdoor bath. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Papa Bear who honestly returned our surplus payment. The hotel is also in a great location, with an affordable restaurant across the road. The gardens were very well maintained, creating a lovely atmosphere. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff were top-notch.

The staff were really nice and helpful, arranging tours and even taking us to the ATM. The location of the lodge was perfect for us, as it was between the main street, the orangutan sanctuary, and the rainforest discovery center, all within a 15-minute walk. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. we really liked it here and would definitely recommend it.

I recently stayed at the Nature Lodge for 3 days while exploring the nearby orangutan station and Kinabatangan River. It was the perfect location to connect these two sites. The staff at reception were friendly and professional, and the restaurant offered delicious food with great vegetarian options. The rooms were spacious and clean, set in a beautiful natural setting. The well-maintained gardens added to the overall charm. In addition, the air conditioning worked well and the mattresses were comfortably firm. The lodge also had a common area with average speed WiFi, perfect for staying connected. a great choice for backpackers with an affordable restaurant right across the street.

I would recommend this hotel.
