We stayed at a hotel during Christmas and we loved the fact that they had a beautiful Christmas decoration in the lobby. It really made us feel the festive spirit. One downside of our stay was the noise level in the hotel. the walls were quite thin and we could hear people talking and walking in the hallway, which disturbed our sleep.
