The value for money at this hotel was great. The room was comfortable and had good AC. The location was perfect, walking distance to the Malecon and Zócalo. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast selection is to offer more variety.

Our stay at Hotel Baluarte was like stepping into a time machine back to the 50s, in the best way possible! The retro furniture gave the room a unique charm, and while it may not be luxurious, it provided great value for money. The location was fantastic, with easy walking access to the Veracruz port. I truly appreciated their assistance. The hotel also offered convenient amenities such as a nice restaurant, clean rooms, and effective air conditioning. a delightful experience!

Great location, just across from a historical landmark and close to the Malecon and handcrafts market. the hotel is clean and well-maintained, with polite staff. the room was modern, clean, and functional, with good lighting and nice towels. the bar and restaurant had good prices and decent quality.

The reception staff had a rude and unhelpful attitude, with a I could care less mentality. the hotel lacked proper amenities such as free wireless internet and a hairdryer.

It's cheap, centrally located, and clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. As a group of friends, we felt safe and enjoyed the amenities like the TV and air conditioning. we had a pleasant stay and loved being able to walk to popular attractions like the Malecon and Zócalo.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the attractions I wanted to visit. The room was clean and although the bed was a bit small, it was still comfortable. I appreciated the air-conditioning in the room, especially during the hot weekend. The TV even had English channels, which was a nice surprise. The hotel also had a pool, although it was a bit crowded when I went.

The location of this hotel is terrific, as it is across the street from the Baluarte de Santiago and within walking distance to the Malecon and the Gran Café de la Parroquia. You can easily explore the center of the city without being too close to the seaport and its unpleasant smells. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that all basic amenities in the rooms are in good working order. The rooms themselves are clean and quiet, with a very good shower and a nice view of the castle from some windows.
