I had an amazing stay at Gallo De Mar! the location was perfect, just a minute's walk from the beach. the pool area was beautiful, with comfortable lounge beds and plenty of shade. I loved how green and lush the hotel was, it felt like being in a little jungle. the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, and they even let us check out a little early. the room we stayed in was fantastic, with a private terrace that had hammocks and couches to relax on. It was even better than the pictures!

The hotel had a beautiful pool and the rooms were clean and spacious with a modern design. Having access to a kitchen to make our own meals was a great bonus. the staff was amazing and provided wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area.

The mattresses in both rooms we stayed in were uncomfortable, with little padding and springs that were too firm. This resulted in waking up with a sore back each day.

Great location close to Punta Zicatela bars and restaurants, as well as the surf spot. Spacious and clean rooms. Outstanding reception staff. Facilities include a pool, shower, dressing room, and communal kitchen.

Felt special, no complaints.

The hotel is perfect and affordable, with a lovely property. The communal kitchen is tidy and well stocked. The owners are friendly and always willing to help. The pool and common areas are welcoming. Close to shops and the beach, with the ocean sound audible from the balcony.

Felt right at home, no reason to complain.
