My stay at Hotel Tuparenda in Bacalar was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located in a quiet area, but still within a short walk to the beautiful lake. The rooms were spacious and incredibly clean, with two large comfortable beds. The staff were always helpful and made me feel right at home. The highlight was the delicious breakfast, with a variety of options including scrambled eggs with nachos and pancakes, along with fresh fruits. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Tuparenda for a wonderful and memorable experience.

The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the beautiful lake. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a fridge in the room and free unlimited hot and cold water. I also loved the breathtaking view from the roof restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the lake, offering a nice view from the terrace on the top floor. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good set of cosmetics provided. The owner was friendly and helpful, giving advice on where to eat and providing directions around town.

The towels in the room were not very white and looked a bit worn out.

Stunning Lagoon View: The highlight of my stay was definitely the terrace with a small pool overlooking the mesmerizing 7 colors lagoon. It felt like I was bathing in a giant cocktail of blues and greens, sipping on a refreshing vacation margarita.

Location inconvenience: Bacalar is a charming town, but the hotel is a bit far from the main attractions. Having a car or being prepared to pay for taxis is a must, which can add up if you're on a budget.

We had an amazing stay at Tuparenda! Francisco and his family were incredibly welcoming and the hotel had a relaxing vibe. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the location was perfect - just a short walk to the town and the water. the staff were friendly and helpful, helping us book boat tours and taxis. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace by the pool was a great way to start the day. We also appreciated the availability of drinking water in the lobby. Highly recommended!

The owner Francisco was incredibly friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the area. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, was clean, and had plenty of space. the hotel even had a small swimming pool on the rooftop for cooling off. the breakfast provided was delicious, with eggs, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt. we were delighted with our choice to stay at Tuparenda for 3 nights.
