The location is perfect. It's near the water and away from everything else, which provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the staff is very professional and attentive to our needs. the bungalow is also very clean and quiet, which makes it a great spot to recharge and relax after a busy year.

There are some negative aspects that I need to mention. the outdoor lighting was never turned on, and I was looking forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoor lighting during the new year.

The hotel lacks proper heating in the rooms, which made for a freezing first night and the need to use a noisy plug-in heater with a bright light. Requesting blankets was also a hassle, as there was no phone in the room and assistance was difficult to find.

The town of Ajijic and the nearby Chapala were remarkably inexpensive, making it a great destination for budget travelers. The safety and tranquil atmosphere of the gated property added to the overall appeal.

Although the stay was generally wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. The outdoor lighting was not turned on during the nights, which prevented me from enjoying snacks and drinks outside.
