The Carmen Hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach and in the center of Playa del Carmen. It is close to all the major attractions of the city. The Keel restaurant offers a beautiful open-air dining experience with water views. The modern rooms have balconies, and there is a rooftop pool where you can enjoy the stunning Caribbean water views.

Some guests mentioned that the bathroom arrangement in the rooms can be uncomfortable for those who are modest.

Excellent location near the beach and main street, perfect for exploring the town. the comfortable beds offered a great night's sleep after long days of adventure. the rooftop pool was a highlight, providing a great view and a fun atmosphere for meeting new people.

The noise from hallway cleaning in the morning could be bothersome for light sleepers. the front desk staff could have offered better guidance for navigating the town.

We had a fantastic time at The Carmen Hotel! The central location and small beachfront made it convenient for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The modern design of the hotel added to the overall experience. The rooftop with its stunning view of the sea was a highlight. We also appreciated that they were accommodating of our service dog.

We felt privileged and had no reason to complain.

This hotel is luxurious, from the exclusive amenities to the private facilities. the room was spacious and modern, with a swiveling smart TV and USB outlets in every spot. the staff was attentive and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The rooftop infinity pool provided stunning views and the beach was conveniently located just a few steps away. Cons: the beach had some seaweed, but the staff diligently cleaned it every day.

The modern design and great location of the hotel. The staff was super helpful and the pool on the 5th floor was perfect for daytime parties and sun tanning. It was a great place to meet other single people like myself and have lots of fun.

Felt very welcomed, no reason to complain.
