I recently stayed at The Strand for a couple of nights and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel's location in the heart of colonial Rangoon allowed me to fully immerse myself in the city's rich history. The suite I stayed in was incredibly comfortable and the staff at the front desk, as well as the manager, were extremely helpful in organizing excursions and providing recommendations. The beautiful flower arrangements throughout the hotel added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. Additionally, the service provided by the staff was old-fashioned and genuine, always with a smile. It truly doesn't get better than this!

I had a fantastic stay at The Strand, with attentive staff and a beautiful colonial design. The pool was spacious and peaceful, and we even got an upgrade to a larger room with a 24hr butler service. The small touches like the turn-down treat and the helpfulness of the General Manager made it a memorable stay. The hotel's location was perfect, with great views and plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.

The Strand exceeded all our expectations! The high ceilings and spacious rooms with floor-to-ceiling curtains were stunning. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the butler service on our floor made us feel pampered. The hotel staff provided excellent service, from the doormen to the cafe and historic bar. We loved the daily fruit and tea, as well as the special touch of freezing our "blue ice" for our car rides. The custom breakfast was delicious, thanks to the talented chef. The hotel manager personally checked on us multiple times and made us feel like VIPs. The pool and exercise room overlooking the pool were fantastic, offering a great place to relax and stay active. And let's not forget the unforgettable 5-course French dinner prepared by a talented French chef to celebrate lobster!

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Asia that provided everything I needed and more for an intimate, luxurious hotel experience. The staff were extremely attentive and anticipated my every need. The history of the hotel added an extra layer of interest. It is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in and I would highly recommend it to discerning visitors.

I recently stayed at The Strand for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mrs Win Nwe Nwe Tun who shared fascinating insights into Myanmar. The hotel's historical charm was captivating, with a majestic building and a book in the room about Burma's history. Our suite was spacious and luxurious, and we were spoiled with the butler service. The small touches, like welcome drinks, unique fruit in the room, and nightly treats, made our stay extra special. The operations manager took time to personally connect with guests and gather feedback. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
